“African-American leaders must wake up”
Abortion decimating black community, pro-life leader warns
Union City, CA (PRWEB) -- The Issues4Life Foundation demands the assault against the Black unborn child stop and calls for the defunding of Planned Parenthood with U.S. taxpayer dollars.
 Walter Hoye, founder of Issues4Life Foundation, expressed his outrage after reading Live Action's Winter Quarter 2008 issue of The Advocate, a UCLA student magazine on the right to life, which revealed Planned Parenthood accepting money specifically targeted to "lower the number of Blacks in America."
"According to The Advocate, 79% of Planned Parenthood clinics are in minority cites, and kill an estimated 1,500 Black babies every day." Hoye said. "According to Dr. Johnny Hunter, president of the Life Education And Resource Network, from 1882 to 1968, 3,446 African-Americans were lynched in the U.S. and that number is surpassed in three days by abortion."
Issues4Life Foundation continues to crunch the numbers and finds, according to Dr. Clenard H. Childress Jr. of BlackGenocide.org, that about one-third of all abortions in America are performed on Black women even though African-American women represent only 6% to 7% of the U.S. population, according to the U.S. Census Report of 2006. The abortion ratio for black women is 2.9 times higher than the ratio for white women. Nearly 50 percent of all pregnancies among black women end in abortion while just 16 percent of pregnancies among white women end in abortion.
According to Mr. Hoye, the numbers surrounding the impact of abortion in the Black community just get worse. According to the U.S. Census Report of 2006, Black Americans are currently below the replacement level. "Keep in mind," Mr. Hoye said, "that the U.S. Census Report is given to the Senate and the Congress and yet our leadership continues to support Planned Parenthood with millions in U.S taxpayer money. Black America should insist that political candidates support life and demand the defunding of Planned Parenthood.
"How many African-American leaders understand the realities of abortion on Black Americans?” asked Mr. Hoye. “Since 1973 an estimated 47% of the black population has been exterminated by abortion which, based on the U.S. Census Report of 2006, is the equivalent of six times the population of the state of Mississippi or five times the population of the state of Connecticut or four times the population of the state of Alabama or three times the population of the state of Tennessee or two times the population of the state of Georgia or the entire population of the state of Florida or half the population of the state of California. Abortion is the number one killer in our communities.
"Enough is enough!” said Hoye. “African-American leaders must wake up and demand the assault against the black unborn stop and square their biblical beliefs with the truth of abortion and Black America."

Brothers and sisters, awake from your slumber! It is time to affirm abstinence prior to marriage, to affirm marriage, to rescue the children being sentenced to death for the lustful actions of their parents.
Truly, when any of us are threatened with extinction, all of us are responsible to act. Let us pray for Black America. God has plans and a mission for Black America. Abortion is frustrating those opportunities and plans.

Elizabeth, evidently you do not understand how the federal government works, or you would not believe McCain is pro-life. Congress has the Constitutional authority to limit, ie cut back, the jurisdiction of all courts in the nation and even the Supreme Court in much of its jurisdiction. McCain has never initiated such a "legislative set aside", nor have any of his cronies ... but to show you that I'm not dreaming this up, last year some in Congress tried to do a set aside in a very limited way and did not carry it. The media did not jump at it either; they don't want you to know. All those elected reps and senators are feeding the public hot air, and doing what keeps them in power and wealth. No true pro-lifer can gather enough votes to turn the tide; if they look as though they might, then the two big parties cut them off. Your hope in either dems or repubs is in vain.

The Church in the US is steadily losing political ground regardless of which party has been in power. So, go ahead and keep doing the same thing and expecting different results. I would begin investing heavily in butterfly nets and straight jackets ... their stock is going to go way up.

Did you all know that Michelle Obama is on the Board of Directors of Planned Parenthood. Margaret Sanger, a founder of Planned Parenthood started this organization to eliminate minorities. So, a black woman is helping to eliminate her own race? Or does Mrs. Obama just want rich blacks to have children? Vote Pro-Life!!!!!!

I agree with Mary. There is a certain attitude, even in the black community, that certain blacks and lower income whites should by all means abort their babies. This is what happens to both races when they are dumb-struck with power and position, both of which Mrs. Obama is certainly enjoying. This will not be a political win but a spiritual win. We all need to seek God's face and come to grips with the big picture. This is caste warfare and class warfare. While we're at it I think we need to take a look at sex education in the classroom. Could it be doing more harm than good?
