40 Days for Life Participant in Fresno Assaulted by Abortion Advocate
Didn’t Bleed Enough for TV News
Fresno, CA (LifeNews.com) -- A pro-life person who participated in the 40 Days for Life event in Fresno, California was assaulted on Thursday afternoon by an abortion advocate. Victor Fierro, director of the Hispanic pro-life group Latinos4Life, was the victim of an assault by a woman who first tried to intimidate him.
Yesterday, a pro-abortion woman shouted obscenities at participants in the 40 Days for Life event, which is part of a national campaign.
The woman first attempted to break a security camera pro-life advocates installed to protect themselves and catch any harmful activity on tape. The attacker then cut Fierro’s arm with an unknown object, drawing blood, stormed back to her car and fled the scene.

Thats Fresno for you! Media, Law enforcement, Judicial system ect... All run the same as does the Leadership of the Fresno Diocese. When I was a Patient in the ER. A doctor ordered police to give me a beating. The Media ignored it, court fixed by DA, a corrupt judge, paid lawyers betraying their clients. and the police officer promoted to
Lt. Commander. You'll see when they catch that woman, the courts will go very, very, very light on her. Forgot to mention, City Governments play a huge part in it. A word from the City to the judicial system and that woman shall be free.

It's not news if a pro-life person is assaulted because we don't have "news" media any more. What we have is a loosely organized but very strong propaganda ministry along the lines of 1930's Germany.

Cry me a river, really. You anti-choice woman-haters are the one who turned abortion from a safe, common, legal, routine minor surgery into a violent, hate-filled war. Don't you Bible-thumpers like to say that one reaps what one sows? You stand outside doctor's offices and scream hate at people, you commit arson and kidnapping and murder, you won't even back efforts to promote contraception which is THE BEST way to reduce the need for abortion---and you expect people are going to smile at you with open arms? Nope. Sorry.
I don't condone violence--that's a tactic I'm happy to leave to you "pro-lifers." But even the tamest pup who gets backed into a corner will bite if it thinks it has no other way to defend itself.

This is why hate crimes laws are so in important. This is not just a simple assault. The Criminal Justice system needs to protect us as well as the Pro-choice people, Evangelicals gays, Mormons, everyone. Our 1st Amendment rights are meaningless if we can be assaulted or even murdered for exercising them. Fresno PD needs to make this investigation a priority and when they make an arrest the Fresno DA needs to prosecute it vigorously.

Patrice, how come you're so dumb? Women have died from abortions. I have friends who tell me that they went into depressions after an abortion. Abortion hurts women, That's a fact. One of my friends told me that for the rest of her life she wondered if that would have been a boy or a girl and if God would forgive her for killing her own baby.

Imagine a baby just about to take a breath, only to have a knife stuck into it's brain only to have it's brain sucked out. And you call us "woman haters?" If you can say that what I have said is just a procedure, then you are mentally sick, possessed by the devil, or just downright evil. Patrice, you are a bitter woman. You should be concerned when anyone is hurt or injured including the many women whom we see exiting abortion clinics with tears in their eyes. The violence and hate seems to be in your very words of "Cry me a river." How insensitive you appear to be!
I don't scream, kidnap, commit murder or commit arson. Do you?
Are you saying the enraged woman who knifed our friend is a tame pup?
More like an enraged pitbull who disrespects the law and stands by while innocent life is annihilated.

My sister and her friend were at a Boston area clinic last Thursday. Her friend was punched in the face for offering literature with alternatives to abortion to a woman. The police refused to arrest the woman.

Patrice, you need to do some research for yourself on the pro-life movement and the anti-abortion movement. You yourself have more in common with the anti-abortion movement, which is filled with hate, than you have with the pro-life movement. The pro-life movement has the utmost respect for life. The pro-life movement is not, nor will it ever be, a movement about hurting anyone. The pro-life movement is about respect for the person, and love of neighbor, even if our neighbor disagrees with us. We are not about to attack anyone for their beliefs, and are not about fighting back, but rather about peace, and love of God, and neighbor. The anti-abortion movement is about what you are about: hate. We abhor any kind of violence, and would never heap any of that on anyone. Get it together, dear, your hatred is spilling out all over yourself and others.

Patrice, true pro-lifers don't commit arson, kidnapping and murder. True pro-lifers don't scream hate at women. They care about these women and their children. Read what Betty said, abortion hurts women. We were all unborn children once. Life is precious. Don't link true pro-lifers with mentally ill people that have committed violence. Perhaps the woman guilty of this assault was also mentally disturbed. Pray to end abortion. In the peace of Christ.

After listening to some tapes by Fr. Malachi Martin, and hearing of a talk by the head of HLI, another exorcist besides being a very prolife priest, I believe there are hundreds of thousands if not millions of people in the USA alone who are possessed, or close to it. Supposedly there are over 10,000 covens in this country. And many of our political leaders are members, very active in government, social services, large and small corporations etc. No wonder this country is morally bankrupt and our society has gone mad. We need a collective exorcism! The power of Satan is certainly behind abortion and Planned Parenthood. Conceived in hell and carried out with the approval of so-called "justices."

I hope this pathetic coward is shaking in her boots, just waiting for the police to knock on her door. There's no excuse for what she did. I have stood next to Victor many a time outside the Fresno clinic. He is peaceful, gentle, and fatherly. To scream obscenities at him and attack him is inexcusable. Guess what, pro-aborts: we're not backing down! We'll continue to pray and spread truth until this fight is won.

There is no need for additional laws. We already have a law which addressess criminal battery. It should be enforced vigorously. So called hate crime laws only serve to infringe on free speech, look at Canada, etc.. Pro-aborts are willing to kill children with impunity so now they think they can batter and mame with impunity. Woman haters, Patrice. What about the female children most often in some countries ripped apart in the womb, Patrice. Is that love for women? What about in China or India, and even sometimes in this country, when girl children are aborted because they are not male. That is not to say that male children should be aborted, either. They should not be. The point is the killing of the innocent is murder no matter how one tries to deny it.

Patrice I never see hatred in the pro-lifers, I only see the hate coming from those who are pro-choice. Every time I speak up for the unborn, peacefully and prayerfully, I usually see a pro-choice individual threatening me for my free speech in defending the dignity of all human life. Even when I don't speak and just pray, I always worry that someone will run me over. JLS you are right, these violent bullies only attack peaceful protesters because they know that our motto is to pray peacefully and to turn the other cheek, although hard at times. I know this, that I wouldn't attack a pro-choice protest because I know that they would all jump on me and probably throw me some punches. Ouch!

And yes, Patrice, God does even forgive murder or manslaughter if one is truly sorry, repents and makes restitution. We realize that many women were "forced into a cornor", or did not really know what they were doing at the time. It is, though, still murder or manslaughter none-the-less, but every women's culpalbility is different, and Rachel's Vineyard is a good place to call to deal with that. No one is asking for your execution, but if you don't change, you might destroy yourself spiritually and/or physcially.

Laurette ~ I believe that if you look at the history of hate crime legislation you'll find it was primarily generated by concerns about attacks on African Americans. Crimes against sexual minorities were actually added later in many cases. I find that in arguing the pro life position it's more effective not to get hung up on "pro choice" vs. "pro abortion"

Anne T.: On life issues? I'm opposed to abortion, capital punishment euthanasia and unjust wars. I honestly h believe and hope that if the Holy father and I were to have a long lunch and talk about these things (That will never happen but I can dream , can't I - "Sommelier, a bottle of Sparina Gavi please. A '92 if you have it." ) we'd be in complete agreement, although I'd probably have some practical suggestions about how we communicate our message, at least in the U.S.. Do tell - What makes me a "fence straddler?"
