“I would never have let her go in there had I seen this”
Pro-lifers continue to save lives, spread truth to women outside abortion centers
News from the Trenches
Planned Parenthood, First Avenue and Grape Street, San Diego,
Saturday, March 7, 2009
Planned Parenthood at First Avenue and Grape Street near downtown San Diego started telling customers last Saturday, February 28, they would not be allowed in if they had leaflets given them by "the protestors."
Surprisingly, this did not stop nearly the same number of potential clients getting the "Danger" pamphlet on Saturday, March 7.
Most clients seemed willing to roll down their windows as they were turning into the clinic's driveway and accept information about the clinic.
By 8 a.m., nearly 10 customers coming in the driveway or parking on First Avenue near the clinic accepted the information, which contains information on Edrica Goode, Holly Patterson, and Diana Lopez -- all women who died after abortions at Planned Parenthood.
When Pearl, the security guard, could see this success at getting the leaflets out, she called the police, who showed up shortly after 8 a.m. and gave a friendly warning to the sidewalk counselor about not blocking anyone's entrance to the clinic.
About 8:30, a black Lexus SUV driven by a 6-foot tall, slender Hispanic-looking man in his 30s entered the lot. This is the same Lexus that has come on previous Saturdays. The abortionist (?), wearing black shirt and pants, dark-rimmed glasses, receding hairline, goatee and mustache, greeted Pearl on his way in and did not come out for at least the next two hours.
Between 8:30 a.m. and 9 a.m. a procession of more than 30 Helpers of God's Precious Infants came up from Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church and lined the sidewalk, joined by others to total about 40. The group prayed fifteen decades of the rosary on behalf of the unborn killed that day at Planned Parenthood.
Thank you to all that joined us in prayer, either at the sidewalk, or from elsewhere.

We were blessed with eight public prayer warriors, two sidewalk counselors and, thanks be to God and everyone's prayers, another miraculous turn-around!
It was another slow day at FPA, with only ten women entering the mill. Luis was able to hand out fliers and pamphlets to many abortion-intent moms/couples, as well as having several lengthy conversations.
He spoke with a man who had brought his young niece from Mexicali. He said that his niece had found FPA on the Internet. Luis informed him about the abortionist’s atrocious record of malpractice, encouraging him to go to Culture of Life Family Services instead. The man said he would go back in and speak with his niece and his wife. When we left, she was still in the mill. Please pray for “V.” She looked in her mid-teens.
Two young girls, after having dropped off a friend or family member at the mill, stopped briefly by me at the exit. When they did, I showed them the flier on the abortionist's horrific medical malpractice history and one of the young girls exclaimed, "I would never have let her go in there had I seen this going in!" I then introduced myself and asked for their names, encouraging them to go back inside the clinic and get their friend (or family member) to come out. Sadly, they felt it was too late.
Then, one of the two young women revealed to me that she, too, was pregnant and asked about Planned Parenthood. Explaining to both of them how horrific Planned Parenthood was and why, in detail, I gave them information on Culture of Life Family Services and told the young, pregnant woman to go to COLFS on Monday and talk to their competent staff. I also told her that their young girlfriend, who was having the abortion, should not return to this clinic for her follow up, but should go to COLFS as well.
Expressing gratitude, she handed me the COLFS' card and asked me to write my name and number on it and readily gave me her name and number. Please pray that "T" contacts COLFS, continuing to give life to her unborn baby.
Thank you to all who came to FPA today as public prayer witnesses and to those, unable to be physically present, prayed wherever you are. You saved at least one unborn baby's life that we know of.

Sacramento, various dates, various locations during 40 Days for Life vigils
Two babies were saved and their mothers spared the life-long pain of abortion this past week here in Sacramento, which are included in the 92 lives saved across the nation so far this Lenten 40 Days!
Praise and thanks be to God! Your prayers are being answered!
Make praying for life at the Calvary of our day your Easter Spiritual Resolution and Lenten sacrifice. Come to the place where innocent life is still being killed, praying at the sidewalks right here in front of our local abortion facilities.

I have prayed before I finished the article for V and for T and am going to pray now for the conversion of the abortuary staff. Thank you for what you do and for telling us of your stories. Our Lady of Guadalupe, pray for us.

So tragic. Has our country lost her moral compass. God bless our babies.
